For men with severe erectile problems there is a chance of living a full sexual life by using a penile implant.

How is this surgery performed ?
Prosthesis is implanted through a surgical procedure using epidural anesthesia.
Even though it is impossible to distinguish one from the other during sexual intercourse, there are two kinds of prostheses for this surgery:
Malleable prostheses: This device is permanently rigid. It is positioned down during regular activities. At sight, it is a flaccid penis, when the person has sex it looks like an erectile and rigid penis.
Inflatable prosthesis: It contains fluids and it inflates during the erection. Erection is immediate, it feels and looks like a regular penis.
Hospitalization: 1 day and 1 night.
Anesthesia: epidural.
Surgery length: About an hour.
